PROJECTS
There are usually several projects running within the department at any point in time, with departmental staff as principal or associate investigators/coordinators. Currently, these include:
1. A United States NIH (National Institutes of Health) funded project for global harmonization of the confidentiality and privacy framework for bio-bank and genomic research,
2. A TETFUND (Tertiary Education Trust Fund) supported project on securities regulation, with a focus on improving the Nigerian capital market through enhanced jurisdiction of the Investments and Securities Tribunal,
3. A United Kingdom DFID (Department for International Development) funded collaborative project on preventing and treating cases of sexual assault, being a joint initiative involving DFID (Justice for All) Women’s Action Collective, the Nigerian Police and the Government of Enugu State of Nigeria (Ministries of Justice, Health and Gender Affairs).
